Halloween is a fun time for many of our residents. You can see it by all the festive pumpkins on steps, homemade wreaths on doors, and carloads of costumed boys and “ghouls” heading off to contests each year.
Bill Beazley Homes Are The Perfect Treat For Halloween Time!
One of the nice things about living in a Bill Beazley Homes neighborhood is that families are the inner fabric of our communities, so trick-or-treating is very much alive and well here. The streetlights and sidewalks are nice safety features that our resident kids enjoy each October 31st, in particular. Many of our neighborhoods host special events around the holidays. Check out this adorable photo from a Willow Oak Village party / cookout:
Live Close To All The Action In A Bill Beazley Neighborhood!
Our homes near Augusta GA and Aiken SC are nice and centrally located, so you’re close to all the action.
Throughout the month, residents of Willow Oak Village can be at the Nightmare Plantation Haunted Attraction in just 14 minutes to walk through haunted displays and learn about the real-life paranormal events the historic estate has seen over the years.
Residents of Summerlin, Highgrove and Woodlief are just moments from the Evans Towne Center, where the Christian Giles Scholarship Fund Spook-tacular is taking place this Saturday. Raffles, food, vendors, contests and games will be at this fun event for all ages and proceeds benefit local teachers.
Hayne’s Station in Augusta is near the Fourth Annual Augusta Zombiewalk at the Augusta Riverwalk this Friday where you can dress up as your favorite zombie and walk the streets. If you prefer to run, not walk, you can sign up for the Zombie 5K at Fort Gordon instead. (Gates 1 & 2 are just minutes from Hayne’s Station!) History buffs will love the 90-minute Augusta Ghost Trolley Haunted History Tour taking place every Friday, Saturday and Sunday this month. If you like old classic movies and Mystery Science Theater, you can join the hosts on the 24th for RiffTrax Live – Night of the Living Dead at Regal Augusta. Adults looking for a night of drinking and fun can hit up the 1st Annual Ghouls and Goblins Gala at the Augusta Convention Center on the 26th.
North Augusta Bill Beazley Homes residents living in Bergen Place West will have the closest access to the big Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee downtown on October 26th. Kids really love this event with rides, costumes, music, food, arts and crafts, car shows and live entertainment. For adults, the October 25th Spirits of Hallowed Eve Dinner at the Living History Park in North Augusta is bound to be a hoot!
Our Manchester at Diamond Lakes neighborhood is directly across the street from the Annual Time To Scare Halloween Carnival (at Diamond Lakes) on Thursday, October 24th. Kids 12 and under will enjoy a haunted house, carnival games, contests and candy. If you don’t mind driving 20 minutes, the Augusta-Richmond County Library is holding an event for teens and adults called “Spooktacular Halloween Ideas” on October 12th to give you some ideas for craft-making and tasty treats that you can serve at your Halloween party this year.
Lastly, our Aiken SC homeowners in the Cornerstone neighborhood are just 9 minutes from Trick-Or-Treat on Pendleton Street, an October 26th event for kids 12 & under, featuring “trunk-or-treating,” costume contests, food and carnival games. On October 28th, adults can travel just six minutes from their doorsteps to check out Professor Witchcock’s House of Illusions Show at the Aiken Visitors Center. Here you’ll be treated to more than just wine and a sumptuous dinner feast — but magic and illusions too!
