CSRA Christmas Tree Recycling and Disposal

As the holiday season winds down and it’s time to pack up all of the festive decor, one question always comes up: What is the best way to get rid of the (once) live Christmas tree?

In Georgia

Boy Scout Troop 643 – This troop will pick up your tree Saturday, January 5 for a $15 donation per tree.
To schedule a tree pick up or for more information see their Facebook event page.

Riverside Middle School – Located at 1095 Furys Ferry Road in Evans, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers are collecting trees to be used as fish habitat. This collection will continue until January 9th.

Home Depot in Evans – Located at 520 North Belair Road, the home improvement store is collecting trees. The trees collected will be turned into mulch and distributed on back to customers first come, first serve.


In South Carolina

Aiken City Collection – Residents can leave trees out with their garbage on their regularly scheduled day for collection.

North Augusta City Collection – Residents can leave trees out for collection between January 7-10.

Dumpster Depot -Located at 2063 University Parkway in Aiken, Dumpster Depot is collecting trees during their annual Christmas Tree recycling event on Jan 5th.


All of these helpful services ask that you don’t forget to remove all decorations prior to drop off or pickup!
