A few years ago, the city of Grovetown was fairly scarce and had low traffic. Fast forward to 2019 and there is always a wait to get off of exit 190 from I-20. Thanks to the influx of jobs available at Fort Gordon just outside of Grovetown and John Deere right in the heart of the city, Grovetown has become a desirable place to live and work. There have been quite a few schools open in the city over the last few years as well, the newest being a redesigned Columbia Middle and Grovetown High School.
Greeting you right off of exit 190 are two major shopping centers that are steadily growing. Turn right towards Lewiston Road and you will see a Kroger Marketplace, a new spin on the classic grocery store complete with a Starbucks inside and an assortment of clothes, toys and shoes in addition to normal groceries. There is also a Wild Wing Cafe set to open later in the year and other small businesses. Just half a mile down the road, you will find Gateway Shopping Center with WalMart as its anchor. Chick fil A and Five Guys Burgers have recently joined the ranks with many other restaurants coming soon!
Two of our most popular and steadily-growing neighborhoods are located in Grovetown. Kelarie is set just off of Baker Place Road, only minutes away from the area’s schools. There are spacious sidewalks throughout the neighborhood and a beautiful resort-style pool that was just finished in the summer of 2018. New homes are coming and going quickly in this hot-ticket neighborhood, so stop by the model home to take a tour and call Kelarie home!
Our other Grovetown neighborhood is Willow Oak Village, tucked away off of Wrightsboro Road. There is also a beautiful resort-style pool here as well as many other features similar to those of Kelarie. Willow Oak is quiet and still convenient to many necessary locations. There are agents on duty daily to help you find your next home here!
Don’t hesitate to make Grovetown your home. It has always been coined “a friendly community”, and the steady growth just means more neighbors to have that community with. The addition of many new businesses gives this small town a big-city feel with a small-town warmth.
