Brunch is the perfect opportunity to try new local spots, enjoy fun and fellowship and take a break from the rest of the world. Add these locations to your list of places to try for your next brunch adventure: 

 

First Watch Daytime Cafe, 630 Crane Creek Drive Suite 405, Augusta, GA 

First Watch is an award-winning breakfast, brunch and lunch spot that creates traditional and unique menu items all made to order with fresh ingredients. A few of their boasts include millionaire bacon, shrimp & grits, power wraps and avocado toast. There is also a juice bar with freshly squeezed juices for a refreshing treat. They are open daily from 7:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m. 

 

Metro Diner, 2820 Washington Road, Augusta, GA

Originally founded in Jacksonville, Florida in 1992, Metro Diner has grown to be a southeastern favorite with its specialty chicken & waffles, shrimp & grits and other comfort food brunch dishes. They are open daily from 8:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m., so you can enjoy breakfast for dinner as well! 

 

New Moon Cafe, Augusta and Aiken Locations

New Moon Cafe has brought comfort food and conscious coffee options to the Augusta area and surrounding since 1995. Their goods are made in-house and they roast their own coffee in small batches for maximum freshness. Visit here for the addresses to both locations and their hours.

The Brunch House opened recently and has quickly earned its spot on the map of Augusta’s best brunch restaurants. Some of their signature dishes include a Garden City Breakfast Bowl, Broad Street Biscuits, and Chicken & Waffles. You can visit them Wednesday-Friday from 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. 

 

Inner Bean Cafe, 139-C Davis Road, Martinez, GA 

With 15 years of business under their belts, the owners of Inner Bean use recipes passed down through generations and create a fun, casual atmosphere. They offer fresh coffee, unique breakfast and brunch options and cake slices that are to die for. Visit them 7 days a week from 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. 

 

Bodega Ultima, 353 Highland Avenue, Augusta, GA

A father and son duo took inspiration from small shops in New York City, wine cellars in Spain and Italian cafes to craft the vision for Bodega Ultima. Grab a coffee and brunch during the day and come back for a good beer at happy hour.

In the quaint and charming Hammonds Ferry community, you’ll find the French-inspired building on the corner that boasts Shrimp & Grits, Eggs Julienne, delicious cakes and a wide drink selection.
