Starbucks and Dunkin’ released their pumpkin spice drinks at the end of August, which means we are officially in pumpkin season! This post is dedicated to anything and everything pumpkin-related for a fun fall season.

Pumpkin Patches

The pumpkin patch at Steed’s Dairy is just one of many popular fall attractions there. There are plenty of other things to do from visiting farm animals to adventuring through a corn maze. Steed’s will be open from the end of September until early November, and admission prices vary from $8-11 (children age 2 and under are free).

The pumpkin patch at St. Bartholomew’s on East Martintown Road is a favorite for North Augusta residents and those surrounding. Pumpkin prices vary depending on size, but there is no admission charge.

A long-standing classic pumpkin patch sits at the corner of Wheeler Road and Belair Road at Marvin United Methodist Church. Admission is free and there are pumpkins of all shapes, sizes and colors to choose from. There are also great photo spots and a small play area for children. No admission needed, but bring some extra cash to purchase your pumpkin. The patch will be open through Halloween!

Pumpkin Recipes

Who doesn’t love the taste of pumpkin during fall? It can be mixed with so many other spices and ingredients to create delicious treats and drinks. A few favorites include these pumpkin spice muffins from Delish, spiced pumpkin bread from The Spruce Eats, and pumpkin ice cream roll from Taste of Home.

Pumpkin Decor

Many local stores are flooded with pumpkins right now, both real and artificial. Whichever type you choose, it’s easy to buy a few to place on the porch or make a centerpiece with smaller ones and flowers! There are endless possibilities when it comes to decorating with pumpkins. Another great option for incorporating pumpkins in your decor is finding or cutting pumpkin shapes out of wood. These can make cute door signs, wall hangings or even plate chargers for a dining room setup. Thankfully, they’re affordable too and can stay around until it’s time for the holiday decorations to come out.

Let your fall-filled heart roam free this season and deck the whole house (and your appetite) out in everything pumpkin!
