Requirements:

General Terms of Participation

To participate in the scholarship program you can choose to write an essay that is 300-500 words, create an art project or drawing.

Project Subject:

Your project should highlight a feature of your home that you love. Please feel free to be creative, this feature can be a real feature of your current home or an imaginary feature of your dream home.

The scholarship recipient will receive $1500 towards a degree program or technical training in the construction industry.

To enter, submit your entry by December 31, 2019

Eligibility and Creativity

  • This scholarship opportunity is for individuals ages 17 and up, residing in Georgia or South Carolina. Student must anticipate being enrolled in a degree program or a technical training program in 2020
  • Student must have plans to continue his/her education in the Construction/Home Building industry
  • While evaluating the submissions, the scholarship committee will take note of several factors including creativity and value of the provided content

 

Deadline

The final date for submission is December 31, 2019. A winner will be chosen by January 20, 2020.

 

How to Submit Your Entry

There are 3 ways to submit your essay:

  1. Email your essay in pdf format to bbhscholarship@billbeazleyhomes.com or
  2. Mail a hard copy to the Bill Beazley Homes office or
  3. Drop a hard copy off at the Bill Beazley Homes office
